Grade 3+ Concert March for Band
Originally published by RBC Publications, this standard march has two repeated strains, a trio with a break strain, then the trio repeated with a baritone countermelody, then break strain again and a Grandiose Trio with woodwind obligato. It uses the cut-time rhythmic pattern of two eighth notes and quarter note throughout ("Talion").

WHERE EAGLES DARE

Commissioned by the Rusk Middle School Band in Rusk, Texas (John Canfield, Director), this paso doble uses soaring melodies and countermelodies to depict the flight of an eagle (mascot of Rusk schools). It uses the cut-time rhythmic pattern of quarter note dotted half note throughout ("Eagles").
